The new MacBook Pro now has SDXC card support  and by default now support 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. There are two USB ports but these are USB 3 interface and as expected provides bacward compatibility for USB 2.

Apple is trying to push the prominence of its Thunderbold Interface and as such the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display does not support FireWire or Ethernet interfaces. This means you will have to buy Apple's Thunderbold Adaptor. This is a perfect opportunity for manufacturers will be making life easy for us by creating Ethernet to Thunderbold Adaptor or FireWire to Thunderbolt Adaptors for those people who looking for cheaper options.

The MacBook Pro with Display relies on the new version of the Mac OS X Lion Operating system called Mountain Lion which is due for release this coming July 2012.
